Unified League Concept Rulings:
Refer to the current Alpha League rulebook for all rulings
Special Deck construction rule: Players will construct 3 decks utilizing the Alpha League rulebook. The decks will be referred as Deck A, Deck B and Deck C. The following construction modifications will be observed:
Group List:
You may include 1 of each card from each group list (Fast Mana, Power, Draw and Destruction) into each of the 3 decks. For example, you may run 3 different fast mana group cards in your 3 different decks as long as the 3 cards are never in the same deck, deck A can include a sol ring ,deck B can include a black lotus and deck C can include a mox pearl.
Restricted List:
You may include 1 of each card from the restricted list into each of the 3 decks. Once a card is placed into one of the decks, it may not be used in the other 2 remaining decks, multiple copies of a restricted card are not allowed even if they are in different decks.
Moderated List:
You may include 3 of each card from the moderated list into each of the 3 decks. You may use a maximum of 3 copies of a moderated card amongst the 3 decks. For example, Icy Manipulator can be placed into any of the 3 decks with a maximum of 3 copies of the card amongst the 3 decks. Deck A can have 2 copies and Deck B can have 1 copy. Deck C will not have a copy of Icy Manipulator because the maximum of 3 copies is already used in Deck A and B.
Start of game:
The start of games will be done as per the Alpha League Rulebook with the following modification:
Before the round starts a deck sequence will be established. For example round 1 will be decks B-A-C this means Game 1 will be played with deck B, Game 2 will be played with deck A and if needed Game 3 will be played with deck C. Once the round is over the next deck sequence will be chosen along with pairings.
